Description
i started this for fun and decided to try to put effort into it, until i realized how much detail feathers take
the tail feathers are hard to do zoomed out but since i havent even really started mapping out the wing feathers im not going to zoom in yet.
its starting to read zoomed out but my values are a mess right now. since ravens have high contrast greasy looking feathers it made it hard to decide how light to make things.
thats why the whole wing area is still very light, it'll get darker once i start rendering

Perhaps it would be more effective to do a bunch of small studies where you just mainly focus on the form and general shapes that create a raven? it is more fun that way too.. also it helps you when you actualy want to go full render later on.
